(Lincoln, NE) -- Officials in Lincoln say they will track several strains of illness, including flu, Covid-19, and RSV on a new and improved public health dashboard. Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Director Kerry Kernen says the dashboard will combine factors such as wastewater surveillance, school absenteeism, and outpatient data from doctors' offices. She says the dashboard was first launched in 2023 and until now has been updated weekly. It will include separate categories for different diseases an can be accessed at the county health website.
