(Des Moines, IA) -- An online workplace publication is examining the trends when it comes to working from home in the Des Moines metro.
Coworking Mag says 55,366 people work from home in the Des Moines metro, representing 14.1% of the workforce, which is a little above the national average of 13.8%. Slightly more women work from home than men, at 51%. The study shows that Des Moines has the highest number of Gen X members working from home than any other Midwest city, at 43.6%. Millennials come in second at 34.3%, followed by Baby Boomers at 12.6% and Gen Z at 9.1%.
