(Des Moines, IA) -- A man who pled guilty to voluntary manslaughter in Des Moines will spend at least a decade in prison.
Martavius Green was sentenced to 35 years in prison with the requirement to serve 10 years before being eligible for parole. Green admitted to shooting and killing Tariq Reynolds in September of 2024 at a home in Des Moines during an argument over sharing marijuana that escalated into a fight.
