State troopers, police, and deputies from across the nation came to Nebraska Thursday to join government leaders and citizens for the funeral for Nebraska State Patrol Trooper Kyle McAcy, who was killed in the line of duty.
McAcy died when he was hit by a snowplow while working a crash scene on I-80 in eastern Nebraska last week
His badge number 302 and assigned patrol car have been used in tributes over the past week.
His patrol car was part of a large procession of police and fire vehicles from an Omaha funeral home to Liberty First Credit Union Arena in Ralston where the funeral service was held
