Des Moines Women Drives Herself to Hospital After Shooting Monday

(Des Moines, IA) -- One person drove themself to a hospital in Des Moines after a shooting on the Northwest side. Officers responded to the 2600 block of Boston Avenue around 10:30 Monday night, finding shell casings at the scene. They later found a car with damage from gunfire at the hospital. A 32-year-old female victim remains in the hospital with serious injuries. Police say this was a targeted shooting, and the investigation is ongoing.
