(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A Chicago law firm says a Cedar Rapids employer broke the law when announcing layoffs.

Lawyers with Strauss Borrelli say Collins Aerospace didn't give the state required 60 days notice when they announced an April 13th layoff of 160 employees at it's Cedar Rapids location on March 13th.

As a result, the firm says those employees may be entitled to two months of severance pay and benefits.

The firm says those impacted can contact them by clicking here to learn more.
