Omaha Fire Investigators say an early Friday morning fire in a large commercial uniform laundry business in southeast Omaha was accidentally caused by an overheated laundry machine.
OFD says the fire near 20th and Poppleton Avenue caused an estimated 20-thousand dollars in damage, and no injuries were reported.
Arriving firefighters reported a small fire from a laundry machine that had just begun to spread to the roof around the vent area.
Sprinklers had gone off in the area containing most of the fire.
The fire was under control in about 20 minutes.
