(Rock Island, IL) -- The trial of a Quad Cities mother accused of faking her daughter's disappearance is being delayed.

Lawyers for Princess Ilunga asked a Rock Island County judge for a continuance in court yesterday citing the hundreds of hours of evidence that needs to be reviewed before trial.

The judge scheduled an update hearing for June.

Ilunga reported her daughter Blessing missing after her vehicle was stolen in January.

Police say she claimed the 4 year-old had been in the vehicle when she was in fact in her home during an extensive nine-hour search.
