Fire Causes Extensive Damage at Moose Lodge in Newton

(Newton, IA) -- A fire at the Moose Lodge in Newton caused extensive damage. Newton Fire Captain Treavor Willis tells WHO Radio news his crew was returning this morning to put out embers that had reignited. Multiple crews from other cities responded to the fire, which began about 10:30 p.m. on Sunday evening. There is no word on any injuries. The cause remains under investigation.
