(Colfax, IA) -- A new, 480 acre park will open in Colfax next month.
The RV@QSP campground was made possible thanks to a $400 thousand dollar Destination Iowa Grant in the summer of 2022. A dedication ceremony for the new campground at Quarry State Park, about half of which includes lakes for boating and fishing, is scheduled for Saturday May 24th, at 2pm.
Registration for the dedication ceremony and to book and RV spot or campsite later on is now available on the Quarry Springs State Park website.
