(Johnston, IA) — A local man is facing multiple charges after allegedly driving drunk with three children in the car.
45-year-old Jesus Carranza Rivera is charged with Operating While Intoxicated (OWI), open container, and three counts of child endangerment. According to police, Carranza Rivera admitted to drinking while driving home from Minneapolis. Officers discovered multiple cans of beer and a half-full bottle of tequila in his vehicle. He was arrested early Monday morning by Johnston police.
