Bettendorf Middle School To Hold Evacuation Drill This Afternoon

(Bettendorf, IA) -- A Quad Cities school will be evacuated today.

Bettendorf School Board officials will hold a mock evacuation drill at Bettendorf Middle School at 1:00 p.m.

Nearly one-thousand students and staff will leave the school and walk north on 18th Street to Faye's Field across from the Bettendorf Library.

Police are asking drivers to avoid the intersection of Spruce Hills Drive and 18th Street between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. this afternoon.
