A Central Iowa man accused of threatening to kill his ex-girlfriend has been indicted by a federal grand jury.

Tanner Bandy is charged with a single count of stalking, accorded to court documents filed by the US Attorney for the Southern District of Iowa.

Bandy was arrested in April after he left numerous voicemails for the victim, which included threats of a mass shooting at the Iowa State University commencement ceremony.

Police seized guns, cash and detailed plans about the plot when Bandy was arrested.

The Nevada man remains in federal custody.
