(DES MOINES, IA) -- MercyOne Medical Center in Des Moines is ending its longtime partnership with Medical Center Anesthesiologists.
The change was announced in an internal email ahead of a scheduled operations update on May 31. MercyOne officials say the transition is aimed at supporting patient care and surgical services, but did not provide a specific reason. Medical Center Anesthesiologists has provided anesthesia services in the metro for more than 50 years.
No details have been released about a new partner or when the transition will take place.
