(Polk County, IA) -- A new natural playscape for children opens on Saturday at Chichaqua Bottoms Greenbelt.
The new playscape includes spaces where children can climb logs, play in a mud pie kitchen, swing, play a pebble harp, and more. The event starts at 10am and runs until noon. The event will feature speakers around 10:30am. Adjacent campsites around the are have also been present.
The project is the result of several years of planning and construction.
