It is awards season, and once again WHO is being recognized by the Radio Television Digital News Association with an Edward R. Murrow Award for BEST NEWSCAST in the region!
This is the third consecutive Best Newscast Murrow Regional Award for the news team. You can hear the newscast below.
If you listen to WHO at any time, you already know the news team provides award-winning content every day, but it is always encouraging when that work is recognized by others in the industry.
Last year this same Des Moines news team won the NATIONAL Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Small Market Newscast in the United States. Winners of the 2025 national competition will be announced in August.
