(Davenport, IA) -- The QCA is on the backside of the wettest day in 11 years.

Three-and-a-half inches of rain was recorded at the Quad Cities International Airport yesterday.

National Weather Service Meteorologist Matt Freidlein says it was the most rain we've seen in a calendar day since June 30, 2014 when just over 5-inches fell.

Freidlein says we should stay dry until late Saturday when we see our next chance of rain.
