(Ankeny, IA) -- The City of Ankeny receives a $10,000 grant.
The city is being awarded a Community Betterment Grant from the Polk County Board of Supervisors. The funds will go to enhancements to the High Trestle Trail Experience Park, including new benches and additional waste disposal. The grant funding is meant to support non-profit recreational, cultural, and educational projects available to the public.
