Omaha Annexation Plan to Add 3,500 Residents,1,400 Acres

(OMAHA, NE) -- Omaha’s 2025 annexation package is set to bring more than 3,500 new residents and over 1,400 acres of land into the city limits.

The proposal includes neighborhoods near Flanagan Lake, Stone Creek, 204th and Blondo, and West Center Road. City officials say the plan will be presented at the Planning Board’s June 4 meeting, with an open house scheduled for tonight at 6 at the Saddlebrook Community Center.

The annexation aims to improve city services and infrastructure access for newly incorporated areas.
