(Des Moines, IA) -- U.S. Cellular is set to break a world record in Des Moines on Saturday.
The company is bringing a record-setting 506 foot long mini golf hole to Cowles Commons. The mini golf hole is the longest in the world and is part of an event to get people to spend less time looking at their phones and screens. The event is scheduled from 11am-6pm on Saturday and will include, in addition to the record-setting mini golf hole, a giant yard puzzle, face painting, snow cones, and more.
The event is free and open to the public.
