(Pella, IA) -- A Pella daycare has fired an employee for injuring a child.
New Horizon Academy says their teachers undergo extensive background checks and training.
However, it fired Taryn Steenhoek, who was arrested on child endangerment charges. She is accused of breaking a child's arm on May 21 at the daycare.
