(Scott County, IA) -- A local animal shelter needs help after removing 70 cats from a local home.
The Humane Society of Scott County says they are overwhelmed by the number of animals now on hand after a resident called asking for help with what had become an unmanageable number of felines.
HSSC is waiving adoption fees for dogs and all fees for owners reclaiming lost pets this month.
They're also seeking donations.
