(Lynnville, IA) -- Authorities are investigating tampering in the Lynnville water supply.
According to the Jasper County Sheriff's Office, law enforcement received reports of someone tampering with water equipment at the city's water supply. Investigators say preliminary findings show the water is still safe to drink, but someone tampered with the equipment that controlled the water supplied to the city.
Anyone with information is asked to contact law enforcement.
