(Des Moines, IA) -- A shooting in Des Moines' Accent Neighborhood left a man injured. Police say they were called to the area of East 23rd and State Streets Thursday night to investigate the shooting.
They found an adult male with a gunshot injury. He was transported to an area hospital, but his condition is unknown.
There will be an increased police presence in the neighborhood as they investigate what happened.
