(Altoona, IA) -- A three-year-old is hospitalized after a near-drowning at the Altoona Aquatic Center.
First responders were dispatched to the Aquatic Center just before 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday night. The child was found unresponsive in the pool and wasn’t breathing. Lifeguards performed CPR and were able to regain a pulse and breathing.
The child’s condition is unknown at this time.
