(Davenport, IA) -- Residents and businesses will continue to clean-up today after damage from severe storms that rolled through the Quad Cities on Friday.
The National Weather Service is confirming that an EF-2 tornado touched down near Blue Grass and traveled along the west side of Davenport with winds of 120mph.
Several residents lost everything to flash flooding as Duck Creek left its banks and low-lying spots were unable to absorb the rain after around 5 inches of rain fell through the week.
The Red Cross has opened an emergency shelter at the JB Young Opportunity Center on Main Street.
The city of Davenport has setup a special website with information on clean-up of tree limbs and household items damaged in the storm. You can find it by clicking here.
