Amtrak Borealis Route Serves 250,000th Guest Over 4th Of July Weekend

(Wisconsin) -- The Borealis Amtrak route has officially served it's 250,000th guest.

The route runs between Chicago and the Twin Cities with multiple stops in Wisconsin, including Milwaukee and La Crosse.

The trains leave from St. Paul at midday and Chicago in the late morning.

Amtrak says Borealis reached the 250,000th rider milestone over the Fourth of July weekend.

The route started offering daily service in May 2024.
