(Des Moines, IA) -- More expansions are coming to the Des Moines International Airport.
In addition to the newly-opened parking garage offering 1,100 new parking spaces, additional projects are underway. Four new de-icing pads are expected to open by October, ahead of winter travel. In addition, a new rental car facility is expected to open for use in January of 2026.
The Des Moines International Airport says the expansions are in response to growth in the Des Moines metro and increased travel into and out of the airport.
