Quad Cities Insurance Agent Charged With Defrauding Clients

(Moline, IL) -- An insurance agent from Moline is charged with defrauding his clients.

Investigators with the Iowa Insurance Division say 74 year-old Dennis Flaherty forged signatures on insurance claim checks he then deposited in his own account.

Flaherty is the owner of Continental Fire Adjusters in Bettendorf.

He's facing multiple charges of forgery and theft.
