(Des Moines, IA) -- One man is dead and the suspect has been detained in an overnight shooting in the Indianola Hills Neighborhood.
Des Moines Police found the 38-year old victim in the 200-block of Bell Avenue. The man was found dead at the scene.
A suspect in the fatal shooting was detained at the scene without incident. An investigation is underway and an increased police presence is expected at the location.
The names of the victim or suspect have not been released yet.
