(Des Moines, IA ) -- Central Iowa Water Works will allow commercial irrigation and lawn watering to resume as of today.
The move is part of the as part of the phased exit from the lawn watering ban put in place June 12.
Water Works says the decision to allow commercial watering is based on nitrate concentration in water sources and low customer demand. They say recent rain has helped lower nitrate levels.
