(Grimes, IA) -- An investigation is underway after multiple first responders received a call reporting a 2 month-old child not breathing in Grimes.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office assisted the Johnston-Grimes Fire Department in performing CPR at the scene and interviewing witnesses. The child was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries. No arrests have been announced so far, and the the Polk County Sheriff's Office says they will provide updates as they become available.
