(Aledo, IL) -- The Mercer County School District has a reached a deal with their teachers.
Details won't be released until the deal is formally ratified by both the teacher's union and the Board of Education, but School District officials say the new contract rewards teachers while remaining responsible to taxpayers.
Mercer County students return to class Thursday.
