(Des Moines, IA) -- Des Moines residents can dispose of various types of waste at two SCRUB events tomorrow (Saturday) hosted by Des Moines Public Works.
One event hosted at the MWA Metro Central Transfer Station Saturday at 4193 Delaware Avenue from 7am-2pm will accept furniture, TVs, computers, lawn mowers drained of oil and gas, as well as tires. Another event will also be hosted at the City of Des Moines Compost Center located at 1601 Harriet Street from 7am-2pm and will accept leaves, brush, garden waste, and grass clippings, as well as well as tree limbs of 24 inches in diameter and 10 feet or less in length.
Proof of residence is required at both events.
