West Des Moines Police are investigating after shots were fired near the Hy-Vee headquarters on Friday morning.
It happened around 8:15 a.m., and no injuries are reported.
Police have collected shell casings, and say there's nothing to indicate this was specific to any businesses in the area.
West Des Moines Police also believe two vehicles were involved and then left the area.
