A Polk County Sheriff's Deputy suffers minor injuries after his patrol car was hit by another car on Interstate 80.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office says a deputy was helping with a traffic accident Friday morning on eastbound I-80 just East of Des Moines.
His Tahoe was hit from behind by another vehicle. The deputy was taken to the hospital.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
