An inmate missing from the Community Corrections Center - Lincoln is arrested by the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office.
Alexander Gouge was picked up on Sunday.
Corrections says he did not return last Thursday from a furlough to seek a job.
In 2021, Gouge was sentenced to 10 to 15 years out of Lancaster County for refusing to submit to a test/5th offense.
Nebraska Corrections says Community Corrections Center-Lincoln is one of two community custody facilities operated by the department.
Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility.
Inmates are allowed to participate in work opportunities, attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
