(Des Moines, IA) -- A new study shows Des Moines is one of the best cities for members of Gen Z.
Rent Cafe ranks Des Moines at the 3rd best city for recent Gen Z graduates. The site looked at data from 122 metro areas across the country with populations over 300,000 and focused on affordability, opportunity, culture, diversity, and overall livability. Des Moines ranks high on the list due to its relatively low cost of living, amenities, and job opportunities for recent college graduates. The study finds Des Moines has a high percentage of members of Gen Z, where recent graduates are likely to find a similarly educated peer group.
