(Elkhart, IA) -- Two people are dead and another is injured following a crash near Elkhart Tuesday evening.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office says the two vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Northeast 29th Street and Northeast 142nd Avenue.
A man and a woman were killed after being ejected from their vehicle. A man driving the other vehicle was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
