Second Teen Charged In Iowa City Shooting That Left Four People Injured

(Iowa City, IA) -- A second teen has been charged in connection to a shooting that injured multiple people in Iowa City.

17-year-old Nathaniel Washington faces one count of attempted murder for the August 3 shooting. Washington was already in custody for possession of a firearm as a felon.

Police say four people were injured in the shooting, one of whom required emergency surgery.

17-year-old Moayed Elsid was previously arrested and charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.
