(West Des Moines, IA) -- High school students interested in a career in healthcare can register for a free virtual summit offered through Des Moines University.

DMU is inviting students to register for the Pre-Health Summit to learn more about the various career options available in the healthcare field. Those who attend will be able to interact directly with current DMU students in the various programs offered. Summit participants will be able to get a clearer idea of what it's like to go from high school into the healthcare profession. This is the fourth year Des Moines University has hosted this free virtual event. The summit will take place on Saturday, October 25th from 9am to noon.

Interested students can register through DMU's website by October 23rd.
