(Des Moines, IA) -- The Mission Cancer and Blood Center currently located at John Stoddard Cancer Center will be relocated.
The clinic, which is part of University of Iowa Health Care, will move to 110 East Court Avenue in Des Moines. The center will feature new equipment and furnishings, including on-site labs, a pharmacy, a facility for chemotherapy, immunotherapy, as well other supportive care. The new facility will continue to offer cutting-edge cancer treatments and clinical trials. Timing for the relocation is still being determined.
Mission says it has no plans to relocate any of its more than 20 other locations across the state.
