(Ankeny, IA) -- An Ankeny teacher accused of improperly touching a student has been arrested. Ankeny Police say 50-year old Michael Burrows was a band teacher at Ankeny Christian Academy.
An investigation was launched last month when allegations were reported that Burrows inappropriately touched the student between 2021 and 2022.
Burrows turned himself in to police on Wednesday. He faces three counts of Lascivious Acts with a Child.
Police are asking the public to contact them if they have additional information or had a similar experience.
