Another democrat is entering the race for Wisconsin Governor.
State Senator Kelda Roys announced her campaign today.
She has represented the Madison area as a State Senator since 2021, and previously served in the State Assembly between 2009 and 2013.
Roys also ran for governor in 2018, but lost the primary to current incumbent Governor Tony Evers.
She says she'll focus on job creation, affordable health care, and supporting public schools is elected.
Three other democratic candidates have joined the race: Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, and longtime American Family Field vendor Ryan Strnad.
Republican candidates include Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann and businessman Bill Berrien.
The primary election will be August 11, with the general election on November 3.
