(Oskaloosa, IA) -- The Oskaloosa School Board is holding a special meeting tonight to consider terminating a teacher over a social media post.

The high school teacher was placed on administrative leave after posting “1 Nazi Down” on Facebook following Charlie Kirk’s assassination last week. The School Board is holding a closed-door session but says they will take no action until the public is allowed back in. The superintendent is recommending the teacher be fired for the comment.

The meeting starts at 6 tonight in the boardroom of the George Daily Auditorium in Oskaloosa.
