(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- As hot as it was the past few weeks in the Corridor, we didn't set any records for last month, but the National Weather Service in Davenport says it was the 8th driest September on record.
Eastern Iowa Airport recorded just under an inch of rain for the month.
National Weather Service meteorologist Dave Cousins says we may see some rain on the weekend.
Cousins also says we'll cool down come Monday, but early October temperatures will still trend above average.
