(Clive, IA) -- October is National Pork Month, or Porktober as it’s known in Iowa, and to celebrate, the search is on for the best Breaded Pork Tenderloin in the state.
The Iowa Pork Producers Association has named five finalists:
- The 1854 in Gilbertville (southeast of Waterloo)
- Dexfield Diner in Redfield
- Hometown Heroes in Grinnell
- Sugar’s Diner in Council Bluffs
- Walker’s in Salix (south of Sioux City)
A panel of three judges will visit each location this month to taste-test and select the winner.
