(Davenport, IA) -- Two people are recovering from injuries suffered in a fiery small plane crash Sunday near Mount Carroll, Illinois.
Rescuers say a pilot from outside the area had problems landing at a private airstrip around 10:45 a.m. yesterday morning due to windy conditions.
The pilot suffered minor injuries while a passenger was airlifted to the hospital.
Another small plane made an emergency landing in a field north of Maqouketa, Iowa Friday.
The pilot walked away uninjured in that landing.
