Omaha Police Accident Investigators make an arrest in connection with a fatal traffic crash that happened in early September.
Police say 27-year-old Justin Sanchez is in custody for the September 5th fatal crash at 31st and Redick Avenues.
Officers booked Sanchez at Douglas County Corrections for manslaughter and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident.
Officers went to the scene just before 3 p.m. Friday, September 5th and determined a 2013 Chevy Equinox driven by Sanchez was northbound on 31st Avenue when the vehicle ran the stop sign, colliding with a westbound 2016 Toyota Corolla driven by Qatad Al-Khalidi.
Paramedics took Qatad Al-Khalidi to the hospital where she died.
