(Rock Island, IL) -- The city of Rock Island is making changes to a proposed urban gardening ordinance we told you about Thursday after receiving feedback from residents.
City staff are removing restrictions limiting the height of plants on residential lots to four feet, and a requirement that garden plots be 10-feet from the property line.
The 10-foot setback rule would still apply to vacant lots.
City Council will vote on the changes to The Urban Agriculture Ordinance on Monday.
